Custom client unstable.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

Exactly.. new render works fine, and performance is good. Sadly there is no good publicly available new render PvP client, so big boys without faction need to use cediner, which works on old resources and is laggy as fk

Yeah, well, what can you do. Factions have the good clients, and they aint sharing anytime soon.

Without being able to disable terrain elevation, and without proper pvp options, a client is not viable. Until a new client is made, Ardes will remain the only client that is useable besides the faction ones, and it just happens to have the worst performance by far ;/ I actually really hate using it, but it's not like Loftar is ever gonna add good pvp options as standard in the launcher client.

If you try to fight without a viable client then you are just meat on the chopping block.

Whenever I go near reeds or crops I drop down to 20 fps. It's pretty bad.

Is there an PvE one? Asking for a meat-on-the-chopping-board friend.

When I see reeds I instantly turn back. It is what it is.

You can blame people for not sharing (kind of deservedly) but allegedly, some private client devs made a rather striking point: if they keep fixing the client, they just enable the status quo where Jorbtar can mostly just ignore improving the client. Literal "modders will fix it" -mindset.

True, and we are at the point now where there is no viable pvp client for the general population besides a terribly optimized one. This can only hurt the games prospects.
