Simple yet effective. I keep chuckling at the part with Snekkja.

I genuinely think an official silly & irreverent "people will kill you and smash your stuff and it's kinda funny" trailer would be a good counterbalance to the deceptive farmville trailers the lads usually put out

The Steam description is much more accurate than the official website's "About" and "Q&A" -pages (something I've previously pointed out) and even manages to implicitly warn about the impending "windmills of friendship" by declaring "Free building and landscaping" with "artistic expressions in many of its potential forms."

Still, I wouldn't mind official trailer like that. One point I even envisioned a trailer that starts out promising Farmville as usual, but suddenly while doing an outdoor activity, hostile players appear and they have to escape using the speed boost and chasing small animals.

Final parts of the trailer depict previously idyllic village under siege, they've had to retreat to what area they've covered under Palisade and build Archery Towers to shoot at an approaching Ram.

why not embrace part of the toxicity this game has to offer as a "selling" point.
Make a Video which is basically a compilation of shitting all over the place and in between you just switch back to a peaceful hermit farming life minding is own business... until at the end he get wrecked by a common rookie mistake.

Yeah, showing off the brutality of the game could also attract alot more players. It is kinda unique for this game

Yes, some trailers are just better than others, if you catch Bob Doles drift.

You may have lol'd but you didn't put the video Robben and Bob made on the steam page, despite it being the best steam trailer of all time.

This is a betrayal of the highest order. You better fix wicker pickers like you promised then maybe you will be forgiven. Also bark cordage should stack.
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy
