Mulder is a grumpy man and probably means that saying the game is permadeath is false advertising because of the way KOing works now

What do you mean how? Your game doesn't have these things, namely open pvp and permadeath. Unless by open pvp you mean open pvp in dedicated zones only in which case every MMO has that. Permadeath. Weren't your players killing their own characters as a shortcut to get stats, am I making this up? Permadeath means when you die you lose progress not gain, like what abusing prayer for strength allowed, 125% was it? Have you done something about it? Probably not. What else, sieges are impossible so cross that out too.
Actually, forget all of the above, none of it matters when the combat system is ass. You just have to swallow your pride sometimes and admit that you suck at coming up with original ideas. You combat doesn't have to be original, just copy what works from other games can you? Like any generic hack and slash combat would be better by a mile. For a player looking for pvp (let alone open pvp with consequences) this game is a waste of time, has been for years.

So death is still beneficial then and my point stands. And I haven't even mentioned KO protection which made actually dying in combat rarer than blizzards in Africa or say a guy with an anime style avatar who's not a pedo.
