As others have written - there is a new mechanic regarding claims, changed in W15 if I remember correctly. They can take it and drop it yes, but they can not take it and claim it as you say. You need to get back to your claim pole and get a new bond so you can keep filling it with presence. Otherwise it will become inactive.
