A. Not the official Server. As J or L did not post it

B. As soon as I clicked link the site wanted to access all my devices and whatnot

A. The devs are in the discord and use it on occaison.

B. Perhaps you live in a country where Discord is gated behind age verification. That would be an issue on your side and not with the link.

C. This is a normal, standard discord link. I just tested it myself and it opens up the discord browser invitation screen without any issues.

Don't expect much from the moderation team they are regular players who have ties to haven groups so there will be bias.
This is not an officially appointed team.

Tbh, I feel like an actual official server by Jorbtar would not be much different (that's not a compliment). Still not sure about where the reason to lie about this one being official comes from. I do wish there was a channel dedicated to feedback/urgent bug reports that ppl would use instead of DM'ing the devs, so everyone could witness their bias and idiocy.

There was a disagreement in moderation rules.
For example OP used to be in top 3 people in saying the hard R.
2 groups emerged with one valuing more free speech than the other.

The reason to lie about being "official" is to lure people who don't pay attention too much and overshadow the old server with activity.
You could call it discord pvp between mods.

We tried, loftar wasn't interested for purely loftarian reasons. He hates discord purely because of what it is, he never bothers to even care about what it could do. Edit - which is particularly funny considering the only reason jorb has a discord account in the first place is the hammerting team forced him to create one because, ready for this, they had an official discord server for managing game announcements and feedback. He's aware the industry is using it, they just don't want to.
