I think surrounding the current ring with a large circular ridge or deep water (2-3 times larger than the middle ring), adding a 5-15 minute teleport timer and requiring the trading skill to teleport to Brodgar would reduce a lot of the current issues as an easy start

A claimed, non-removable Ridge, for any reader who might be tempted to take suggestions literally and add features without thinking them through :)

If you have concerns you should explain yourself instead of letting Jorbtar use their imagination of what the problems might be

How much are you paid to serve as meticulous Remind Them Of All Edge Cases Consultant?

My wage is scorn. It’s funny to imagine they don’t know all the ways a ridge could be (easily) subverted, but: less so to waste my time spelling it out as though I’m speaking to a lazy child.

So just an alt for every charter you want to port to consistently. I mean idk, it's not like tw ever stopped anyone real who can just buy a cupboard of leaves for a bunch of tokens or just smoke the bullpipe for a few hours. Brodgar is a very nice change but all the griefing that's allowed there is very much xdxd

That's fine, I don't think it would be a big deal if anyone wanted to do that because such a mechanic could require visiting the charterstone and also knowing the secret. As well, the teleport wouldn't be as easily performed because it requires a charter of your own or using a thingwall. Thus if someone sieges a place this means they won't be able to simply teleport everything away like they could now with RoB port.

One issue I did consider however is if knowing the secret is a requirement, and someone happens to change the secret during a player's cooldown period, there would have to be some way to handle that. Perhaps the mechanic would allow for editing the secret without changing the location itself, sort of like requiring the correct password without the need to wait on the cooldown since they wouldn't actually be switching locations.

Said bushes have been Divinely Deleted, and then promptly re-planted by the wise and conservation-minded Druids of the Hearthlands. Who continue to bring such lovely fauna to greet visitors…

Would seem that Jordan Coles is a prophet (in that he observed things already happening, which could easily have been predicted by any clever Hearthling :) )

Are you sure they were divinely deleted and not just removed by other players?
