many people have always been trying to talk about their experiences no matter how trash they look. and many actually do believe now that jorb has been trying to reach out to receive every feedback he can, since this world has started. however,

I am sure 20 different people could do that too but it is what it is now. None of us asked to be put in there, it was sipmly people Jorb trusted at that time. It seems he still believes that is true or there would have been changes. This thread shows many are unable to distinguish between personal feelings and professional feedback which would be a problem for said condensed feedback.

thank you burg, for giving us the perfect example of how you try to speak for jorb to make others uncomfortable no matter how unintentionally you are doing so, or no matter how jorb agrees with you. what actually matters for the non-IP forumers is not what you think jorb thinks, but rather what jorb says he thinks. remember, most russian protesters are not at all interested in your opinion (nor mine) and it isnt always about "personal feelings" as you make it out to be.

oh and if im allowed to tease you, burg, remember how kaios got in lol

I have no problem whatsoever with an inner circle devs go to for coherent and insightful discussion. If one or more of those IP members use what they perceive to be a "position" to downplay other players input, then that speaks volumes about the weakness in their own character, and do not say anything about the function of the IP in itself.

If I ever want to write up some feedback about the game from my own perspective and playing style, I fully anticipate to be listened to. Even without being in an inner circle. Just because I am a paying player, and as such equal to anyone else playing. If I wrote a long article of how the combat system should work, perhaps not so much as how the gaming experiencing is for a casual hermit. It would be outright stupid for any developer to not listen in some part to all their playerbase, and understanding that each opinion comes from a different player perspective. It would also be awfully stupid to always do what the playerbase wants.

There is a lot of history between players in this game, it can sometimes be difficult to see where arguments come from. For all I know the downplaying, or pulling rank, or whatever to call it - could be in part due to old history. I hope that was all there was.

Well said.

This is mainly why this whole IP conspiracy stuff irritates me, and I did address it twice in the thread where this started, but in case anyone missed that or thought that my response in here is implying we are not entitled to an opinion - we are on a forum, we do have a voice, each and every one of us and now that the game is in active development and Jorb is active on the forum daily there has never been a better time to voice those opinions, not being in the IP is totally irrelevant, you can write up your thoughts for both the devs and everyone here to see, none of us are invisible ..... so long as you remember that giving an opinion doesn't then mean it has to be accepted by either.

Amanda44 wrote:It's not excluding anyone, we are on a forum, if you have idea's or suggestions make a thread about them, Jorb is active here now, he answers, he tries to engage us, he streamed for over two hrs last night asking for ppls opinions and listening/answering them, he even had a notebook he wrote stuff down in.

Maze is not in the IP- J&L has fixed many of my reported bugs and also main thread in C&l normally used in the game.
I don't think this IP has any real power as they use to in w2 and 3.

and as far as I know~ Jorb spend alot of time reading every post we muster up-

+I'm Maze, any party without Maze is like a meh party.

Now here is an ugly rat for you all  8-)

I agree and I did not want to convey that impression.* All I wanted to express is the fact that the current circle of IP members has proven that they can give them coherent feedback on almost all aspects of the game. There are probably others here who can do that just as well or even better. I for example am not very good at coming up with entirely new mechanics or ideas. My feedback usually consists of testing existing mechanics and reporting back on their flaws. Other people might have more creative input and be much more valuable at that. A third party might be better at combat and so on.

I think overall we don't have a bad mix in the IP as most kinds of specialties are represented there. I said before that the eyes of a new player would help because all of us have left that stage a long time ago. Problem being how to find someone that is new and at the same time reliable? Jorb is probably better off reading the C&I for that kind of input.

* I don't speak for Jorb either, he only does that himself. I just write down my impression of what he might think every now and then. If it makes certain people happier I will include a disclaimer to that in my posts from now on. It seems some (not all!) people are just here to nitpick though, not to actually provide feedback on the IP.
