What is ethical/unethical? Livestock bred purely for meat live in more comfort than wild animals. Poultry and dairy cows tend to have a lower standard of living, yet it seems that the original poster has no problem with animal products, such as cheese (and I presume eggs as well). You've gotta love the cognitive dissonance there.
