Yes it is. The devs are in the discord and so is the vast majority of the active community.

In that case, it's just awful.

This is an indie game with a very low player population, so all communities are filled with non-haven related stuff, unless a new world just launched.

There are sections in the discord that are more moderated and still dedicated towards helping new players, but perhaps it's a bit unintuitive.

If you have any feedback, I'm sure the owner will be happy to hear it and try to improve the experience for new joiners.

Worth mentioning both of these discord posted by you have basically near null activity and have existed for far longer (years as opposed to the new one being created when the world was already near dead a few months ago) which explains the bigger amount of users (note, not necessarily active users, but a lot of people that have the server muted and never interact with it).
Also one of the discord you LINKED is actively moderated by the group that got banned for cheating this world (as in, rawrz, trollex, varescka, etc.) dimwit.

There is plenty of active hafen players (mostly hermits) in the new official discord, but you wouldn't know that since you never joined it and hence how could you know who is there and what topics are brought up? I thought you knew you shouldn't speak on things you have no idea about.

But suddenly you are 100% sure it's full of "trolls and cheaters", and all the topics brought up there are just shitposts as opposed to the super high quality content brought up on the old discord (people posting dead chat, W16 emoji and other random gifs with 0 context, i could post images of it here but people can just join both and see it for themselves).
To be fair, if you are russian the old discord will probably suit you much better as it has much more active community of russian speaking players, but then you should also consider joining Midnight Hoggers discord for i think what is the BIGGEST community of ru players.

Yeah i sadly had to admit defeat against the greatest gaslight duo in the hafen universe, robert and noneck. There ain't no two hafen players as invested in rewriting reality as you two. I gotta admit the move where you dmed noineck to post asking you to explain with his green name was super impressive even though we both know he knows why there are two servers. To an outsider it's a clear pwnd moment and I gotta give it to you, i don't think many others would be able to pull it off.
