People that want to grind will continue to get bonuses for doing so.

However, creating truly monstrous characters (5k combat abilities) would be nearly impossible.

...and this will impact the game popularity how exactly?

Factions will still be stronger than normal villages and normal villages will still be stronger than hermits... only some more of the grinders will quit since it will become to occultic to be satisfying... and new players won't even be aware of any such innuendos.

I can't possibly conceive how reducing the economic and stat-based disparity between botting factions, normal villages, and hermits could make the game more accessible, popular, or fun. Of course the fatal flaw, as you've pointed out, is that people who grind more will *still* have stronger characters. Just not that much stronger. This truly defeats the purpose of my proposal.

There is also no value in even mentioning keeping PvE content more relevant by avoiding characters that can face tank anything and everything in the game with an afterthought.

Your rhetoric is insightful, I retract any and all previous suggestions.

Please explain as I don't see it.

The only way to eliminate the botting factions economic advantage would be to eliminate botting (and I mean truly eliminate it, not just say it's banned).

And stat advantage in many ways is just grind for the sake of grind, factions will always have a HUGE advantage in the players knowledge and implementation of combat mechanics, not even mentioning the simple and crushing advantage of the number of fighters that can be brought to a fight.

So far the best mechanic that we have that maybe not eliminates but softens the disparity you've mentioned is realms. Factions now have an incentive to nourish the weaker players around them as opposed to wiping an entire suppergrid clean of live for the fun of it (as it has happened in the past)

I think this is extremely obvious.
I'll return to explain it all, but I've got a very important meeting with a stone that I plan to recite each of Shakespeare's plays to.

Macbeth, obviously. Everyone knows you can only perform Macbeth to rocks else all the actors and staff are cursed to actually break a leg in a performance.

No my dear. You only recite Macbeth before boiling cauldrons. Anything else would be barbaric. ;)

The huge time interval between wipes. So right now, if you are a new/noob player who accidentally left theft scent or something like it you will be killed by Russian dude who has Q3godzillion battleaxe in 1 day. So you will left the game in your first week.

Ok so this is like totally random. But I'm going to try Salem. I like Haven have always liked Haven but it does get tedious after awhile playing I end up stopping for weeks at a time. But on a side note I do stream Haven a lot :D so this will be another learning curve to a different game.

Well, if the truth is had, you're less likely to get killed for leaving a random theft scent now than in the first 2-4 weeks to about 3 months of a game world. Why? Number of active players for one. Two is people are less likely to feel a need to protect their territory because defenses and everything else are so built up. Little noob camp isn't much of a threat.

And if you're worried about leaving theft scents... don't turn on criminal acts. Can't leave scents if you don't toggle this on.
