The rear cabin is elevated by about 1.8m off the mansion to align the roofs as best I can.

Stunning photo.

Thank you. As to not clutter the page with the same pictures, would you mind terribly editing the quote like I did?
Simply mark the picture part (identified by these markers without the " around them: ") and press "hide"

What's funny is that I'm looking through this thread for some inspiration and this is what I was currently had in mind about a stonestead.

Looks incredible!

Edit: How is it even possible to raise the ground toward the house wall like that? Or do you raise first and build the structure afterwards?

Hi, sorry it took me so long to see your questio and reply to it.
Basically all buildings ,with the exception to the stonestead that is just annoying like that, have a boundary box fitting nearly into the grid that makes up the world in HnH.
However, usually their corners and sides are aligned with the center of a gridsquare instead of one of theior vertices. To account for that you can change your snapping precision to 2
( using this command without quotation marks ":placegrid 2". the default is 16, recommended is 11 if you want stuff to align with the grid apart from buildings)
That way the buildings will only snap either on their default position or perfectly aligned with the edges of the grid.

It was a lot of trial and error to get there, but this way allowed me to raise the ground on the opposite side of the square touching the buildings. This allowed me to create these designs.
This also works by diggin out some terrain to make them entrenched, like the hut towards the lower end of the picture.

Since Jorb isn't replying to my last pm for two weeks now I guess I will post my Best Of here. Maybe it will eventually end up on the store page ;)

Getting these cornerposts like this without using a copious amount of rope, leather and boneglue was quite a challange, but worth it in my eyes.

It's an older build, sir, but it checks out...

This has to be one of my best terraforming builts and I am still thinking about it to this day.

Also quite beautiful at night witht he right lighting.

Always good to have some guards around.

A small tradepost I built in the later stages of World 10.

And another angles from it.

This and the moth were W10 if I recall correctly. The first time I came into conact with the Northern kingdom that I am still alliied with.

Just in case someone thinks that I dislike interior decoration.

I do like myself some music ... and costumes of course.

Best to wear some eye protection and a leather apron when the sparks start flying

Contemplating the secrets of alchemy

This is from World 13. As you can see, this has been a trend for me lately, but this was the first time I tried it and am still quite proud. The backside is raised and the roofs of the cabin there align with the mansion.

Another Angle of my base in World 13

I am not sure that amount of bsuhes is enough.

I had to shorten some of them, but I added a few (known) riddles in World 13.

The nature side of my chess pieces.

My finished chess pieces. At least as finished as I had time to before a reset.
Image

A temporary plot in World 13, but just as detailed/cluttered as anything I make.

Another angle of the World 13 temporary base.

I am a huge fan of the animated curiosities.

The lyrics are probably too inappropriate to share.

Now this was quite some work getting them all in here. I hope this works well.
I would hugely appreciate being credited for them, but having them show up on the steam page would be amazing enough aswell.
