But it's not 0. The chance of pregnancy using 2 or more contraceptives is around 1 in a million assuming all forms of contraceptive are used properly! That's a big assumption. A lot of people use the wrong sized condoms or use them incorrectly (which is why they have a 90% rate at preventing pregnancy). Women taking pills often take them incorrectly (there's a lot of rules to them as to how they have to be taken). Spermicidal options are about like antimicrobial sanitizers: nowehere near 100% efficient (about 1:10,000 at best). If I understand correctly, Plan B is 100% effective, but many conservative groups argue that this is a form of "over the counter" abortion.

Sure, it's alive. So is the leech I pulled off me after I was swimming in that pond. So was that cow I just killed for dinner. The difference between that fetus and the leech and cow? The last two are viable organisms. That fetus is simply a cluster of cells that grow into a baby over a 40 week period.

Also, do you have an issue with killing another human? If not, then why do you have an issue with killing something that can't even survive detached from a placenta?

If you think making abortions illegal will decrease unwanted pregnancies, you're full of shit. Go dig up some statistics from the 50s and 60s on the number of deaths from back alley clinics and self abortions as well as the number of births by unwed mothers.

yes good argument theyre not 100% because 1 in a million people are so fucking stupid that they misuse both. i wouldnt argue that theyre not 100% effective based on people misusing them. try buying a proper sized condom XD. try taking your pills properly. people being stupid is a shit argument

http://www.babycenter.com/fetal-development-week-by-week haha ya just a cluster of cells haha how hard do you have to keep telling urself its not a human in there to justify ur beliefs.

but i do have an issue with killing another human, what do you mean if not? do you not have an issue with killing another human? ur point is shit tho so it cant survive detached from a placenta, its still a human. a baby cant survive without another human to feed it after its born, that doesnt make it any less of a human.

i dont really care that people died trying to kill another person tbh, also thats a stupid argument to make it may not decrease a lot but it 100% will DECREASE a little. http://www.johnstonsarchive.net/policy/ ... brate.html haha wow its almost as if when it was illegal people didnt get as much abortions. and the number of deaths in back alley clinics is low as shit provide me these actual statistics please.

That's 1 in a million if used properly. If used incorrectly, it's actually anywhere from 5 to a couple factors of ten times more likely to fail. Condoms, even if used correctly, are only about 95% successful at doing their job (without a spermicide; with is closer to 100%). Used incorrectly it varies widely from being completely useless to somewhat effective. Birth control pills (Ortho Tri-cyclene et al) are 99.95% effective if used properly, but a lot of women miss pills, don't take them like clockwork as they're supposed to, etc, and the effectiveness can drop below 50%. And these aren't stupid people, just the average idiot American.

Sex education in this country is abysmal. We'd rather let our kids watch violence on tv rather than sex play. Then parents wonder why their kids go to college and start fucking their brains out when they were all "nice, well behaved children" living at home.

It's quite typical in the "Right to Life" camp to support things like the death penalty, willingness to go to war at the drop of the hat, and support "stand your ground" laws. I know individual opinions vary, but when a person hasn't expressed such opinions directly, it can be difficult to not get lumped in with the rest of a particular camp.

Blame the English language for not having a better pronoun to express what I was trying to get across.

And of course it's a human. What else would it be? an orangutan?

Can I tell you about the cow fetus I helped pull out of the pregnant cow we slaughtered? We butchered it, too, and had veal that week.

ok so if its so rare then people should just have the baby and give it up for adoption rather than killing it, but abortions are an extremely common procedure. id bet anything people are just having unprotected sex because they know IF they get pregnant they can just kill the baby. i actually know someone whos done this multiple times. did you edit that "assuming theyre used properly" in i mustve missed it or something when i read it the first time.

i am very against the death penalty and war, although i understand that many prolife people are in favor of the death penalty. if you are completely aware its a human why are you so okay with killing it? do you look at humans the exact same way you look at cows? would u eat a human if it were allowed?

baby is just cluster of cells as well
Why is it okay to kill dogs, cows and other stuff, but not okay to kill babies?

Because a cluster of cells that has the potential to develop into an intelligent organism capable of amazing things is more valuable than an animal.
Human life is more valuable than any other form of life in my eyes.
