It's killing fire with fire.

I'm a mature player with job, but 10-15$ is far too much. I'm not getting big enough money to spend it often like this.

I'm willing to pay $15. But is it worth $15? It's the early alpha of a small game that used to be free to play. EVE costs $15 a month. This shouldn't be more than $5, max. Fucking Runescape is $5. And only 48 hours? What is the average player gonna do in 48 hours, build a house maybe? A palisade post? And that's it, that's not enough to do anything.

Most people are (understandably) angry because it was introduced with no warning whatsoever. People just thought they'd be able to play the good old H and H with a better engine and some upgrades and as it turns out they can't unless they pay.

I have a problem with the price, I wouldn't mind paying 15$ one time for unlimited time, but the subscription mode seems to be a bit too much expensive.

Because those are both features of a game that you enjoy playing, the developers of which deserve to get paid for.

There is way many games with PD, and wipes, but u pay once and play forerverever, instead of subscription, feel the difference.

It's 48 hours of play time. I highly, highly doubt that it takes the average player 48 in-game hours to build a palisade, let alone a house.

Oh wow, we have a badass granny over here.

Kids in rich countries can afford both the game's subscription and have free time (cuz you know, they are kids) to benefit the unlimited Play Time. In Germany they get ~90 Euro from school per month.
Your argument is invalid, mr. "look at me i'm mature thus i'm master tier among people".

Then the obvious solution to your problem would be to go and play one of those.

jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

Look at all the people in this thread who don't even understand how the payment system works.

It's a month of played game time (720 hours), not a 1-month period. I doubt many of you have even come close to playing that many hours total.

Essentially it's a $15 game, unless you go totally nuts.
