I dunno, maybe I am just dumb and just cant see it or something, but I was genuinely giving you a compliment haha. Next time I just will try to be as clear as possible when issuing out compliments.

I could actually consider giving animals some small chance of standing their ground.

I'm all about the leniency.

What about a small chance that animals have triple their normal stats?

Maybe add some cripple effect when the animal is really low on hp? I find it kinda annoying that ALL animals run all the time when low ;(

It still would not solve the problem of em running away.
We need some type of crippling effect.

in real life when I go deer hunting with my bow I try to go for a paralyzing blow on the neck with my arrow, if im standing right next to them i can just use my knife for one fell hit and kill.

but I can see where you're going in this game. say if we can use a rope trap or bear trap to hold the animal in place for 30sec long.
to keep it un-abusable a person must be engage so that the animal can hit the player other wise the animal will escape for the trap.

having an RNG on animle standing still would still have us having to run after the beast atot of the times :(

In HnH 1.0 you were able to deaggro then run up to the fkers and give em the last punch of death. now i gotta aggro and wait for my punch to load....

Why are you trying to kill a single bat in a tree when you could just as easily go to a cave and find dozens of them with no trees to get in the way?[/quote]

I dont like to fight groups. when they run they run past their group. what has me ending up to fight more, and idk if you see that UI forfighting alot of enemys yet but its shitty on a mac. soon ill have my master pc back D:

every bloody fking time it runs like hell. heals up and when i start the fight the next go. it has super powers....takes a chunk of my hp. then runs like fk again....

Can we please put a "cripple" effect on animles that have been hit with UA or Melee moves?

When the animal starts to run, immediately rush in the opposite direction of it. The quicker you distance it from your minimap view, the faster it stops running. Then you run back up to it and it's usually standing still. Rinse repeat until dead. Save for bears, be ready for enrage mode. Animals do not heal quickly at all, so you should have no trouble in that department unless you're waiting hours in between each blow. If your getting chunks of hp taken away - you either have too low of UA to fight that animal, you have the wrong defensive maneuvers up, or you don't understand that some animals have defensive counter attacks that will reflect back to you if you do not handle them properly. (Boar is a prime example)

I have the dummest thing you'd laugh at me for. i still only have 10 str and 1 MA. yet i use MA skills and UA skills. so they seem to out heal me some times when im running after em over and over and over.
this computer m using is slow, so trying to load the attack skill then the punch skill fast never works.

I have alot of skills and i figured out fighting pretty fast. so far i like the new fighting system jorb and loafter set up and got aot of the skills. i also have docmented many of the animles skills.

Mind sharing your knowledge about boar maneuvers?

No need for them to stand their ground. Just make wounded animals run slower. I imagine that if animal starts a fight it usually doesn't think of escaping until it's injured and at this point it's probably hard for it to run at full speed. Right now melee hunting seems possible only on grasslands / caves, where it's possible to sprint

I had a thought.... why not level Marksmanship and shoot it while it tries to escape? (not that I'm that familiar with moving targets).

That's just a waste of arrows unless your Marksmanship is super high. And in that case you'd have no reason to ever fight the animal in melee in the first place.
