Summoning no longer exists. Your character just doesn't log out while it's scented.

1) Walk through a forest path.
2) Shit your pants as you fall into a fire with an otherworldly scream.
3) You're still naked.
4) Run into a badger. It rips your face off.
5) Walk for a while.
6) Build a container because your inventory is full of junk you think might be important.
7) End up living at that random spot because you have no plan.
8) Log out for the night.
9) Someone stole all your food.
10) You're still naked.
11) Start building up.
12) Watch your DEX rise to preturnatural levels.
13) Build a palisade and claim.
14) Build and craft tools for days.
15) You're still naked.
Come back two hours earlier.

1. Walk for hours while raising noob skills and slowly put together a snazzy green noob suit
2. Set up a temporary noob camp in a cave
3. Get chased out of the cave by bats
4. Wander even further to set up slighly less noob camp
5. Eventually realize the location sucks and start scouting for a new spot
6. Move once again
7. Build palisade
8. Make progress
9. Build brick wall
10. Grind quality
11. Eventually realize you've managed to turn your camp into Farmville
12. Quit
13. Come back and start at step 1

1. Play at exciting world start
2. Grind combat characters
3. No drama, no reason to pvp, stale world
4. Stop logging on
5. New world back to step 1

So far this is my history with this legacy HnH:

When I first found out about this game (Legacy World 5 if I remember correctly):

1. Create noob character
2. Learn everything, build everything but no pallisades
3. WOW THIS GAME IS AWESOME
4. Get 1shot killed on my own porch by a stupid russian in full armor
5. THIS GAME SUCKS BALLS
6. Quit

1. Return to the game
2. Learn everything better
3. Build everything, pallisades included
4. THIS GAME IS AWESOME
5. All mining spots are taken, no way to get metal
6. Find a russian village who agree to give me metal items if I dig and burn clay all day long for their brick wall
7. I dig up clay for a week while receiving their crap low quality obsolete frying pan, meat grinder, etc.
8. Realise I became a virtual slave
9. THIS GAME SUCKS BALLS
10. Quit

1. Return to the game on fresh world
2. This time I know everything
3. Get adopted by a russian village that speak almost no english
4. Hunt every creature in the game
5. Starting to tame animals
7. WOW THIS GAME IS AWESOME
8. Die killed by a herd of mufflons in a terrible taming accident
9. THIS GAME SUCKS BALLS
10. Quit

As for Hafen - the story so far goes like this:

1. Create character
2. Walk around naked for two days
3. Settle down
5. Walk around naked alts for days
6. So far so good, no russians yet
7. Gametime over
8. Throw money at the screen
9. To be continued
