Early world exploit: Put your hearthfire inside a cave, then hold shift to position a claim right in front of a cave. After 8 hours the claim will be unbreakable. Since your hearthfire is inside the cave, you can still get back inside, and leave, but nobody will be able to enter, effectively making you unraidable for the first 3-7 days. Enjoy

It seems a little odd that you're saying that what would bring you back to haven is the reimplementation of another game inside it...

I agree to some point~ but i think everyone and their mom has made the cupboard chess board.

TBH I'll be coming back in a few regardless but I'm not sure how I wanna play the game again.
That's my dilemma- J&L are making (my) the ideal game- but what else can we do in the game for fun then just sorta working and stuff?

I know some people go all out trying to make their house pretty ;)
others like hunting players

list goes on and on
WARNING! MY ENGISH SUCKS.

Games thrive on playing together as a community, even if you aren't grouped, it's nice to see other players going around doing what you are doing.
It's different with haven though. If you are in a village, you might see someone, but if you are a hermit, you may not see a soul, even after weeks.
I think if the world was smaller, It would have that ultima feel, now that it's safe to leave the gate open.
Maybe size of the world based on the average amount of people playing.

I think that's almost the entire issue. Full pvp is ok, but the way it's implemented makes us actively avoid social contact and see new people as threats. The need for auto-hearth for example is a clear sign of our broken social mechanics. The center of the world could have been a very interesting place to meet people and walk around watching them work, but murder is too inconsequential and jorbtar are too stubborn to realize their views on pvp are counterproductive.

While not a fan of PvP, the possibilities to grief other players go far beyond killing them. This is part of their reasoning for not restricting pvp and murder.

I keep hearing that argument as if murder were the only alternative against griefing. There are other ways to prevent it, counteract it, or dissuade players from it. If devs opened a thread on C&I asking for suggestions on this I bet two carrots it would reach 5 pages at least.

Sure is, and why do you think there's a whole lot of trading websites like those listed below?

Because Albion Online has been always P2W! Visually it's appealing, gameplaywise too, but economically? That's a big NO NO!
