ya for real the combat system imo needs a complete change, last worlds combat was actually rlly good with just a few things they shouldve fixed such as making evileye harder 2 use to reduce the spam and the flab update made it retardedly op anyways this current combat is complete garbage.

foraging is bullshit, no explanation needed

world size/lack of rivers sucks

other than all that i love the game lel i agree with stickman conclusion paragraph tho

Yeah, they should have sticked to last world's combat(with little fixes here and there), it was really great compared to the new combat

I think you need to consider a way to trigger a world reset in game... like being able say you were the victor of world 9 or something. there would be an objective and everyone would be competing to either complete it or stop the others from completing it... it would give some kind of closure to each world and allow people to start fresh again.

We don't think worlds can go on forever, but we want to use the resets meaningfully, and spamming them is not optimal for development purposes. Building a world reset into the game is certainly something we've considered from time to time.

Basically the old haven has been recreated but not much new has been added. I suggest you add something brand new, like a purpose for each mine level or adding new monsters like whales or yeti that throw snowballs at you at range, bigfoot, trolls etc.

Personally, I believe that the fate system needs a complete overall, or simply be removed.

Sure, it was a nice idea to stop botting, but in practice it just killed the foraging system.

I have never found a bluebell, an edel or most fate curios, the only one I ever found was boletes...

And pretty much all foraged curios that are not fate based sucks major balls, in fact, most fate curios ALSO suck balls because they just don´t yield nearly enough LP to justify their rarity.

That being said, not having fast travel made the game so boring that the average player just can´t be arsed on taking a 6 hours travel to find people, the world is just too daam big and empty.

I never bothered with combat, not on legacy and surely not on new world, so im not going to imput any toughts on that.

But the fact the game is basically a grind fest right now wouldn´t be so bad if the current system wasnt put in place to PREVENT grinding, that would be a great system IF the game wasn´t reduced to a grind fest, but at it´s current state it is kind of nonsensical since grinding is EVERYTHING that is actually FUN at the game right now...

And the worst part of this is that the game is not f2p, and it is quite an expensive subscription for what meager fun that could be had with it. I was fine with paying $10 a month because I expected the game to provide endless hours of entertainment like the old haven did, but the game just is not nearly as FUN as the old one was. Im ok with paying for your hard work but not if the game will not provide me any fun whatsoever and will be basically one endless daily chore.

I hope this helps make the game fun again, I really do!

Personnaly i really enjoy the world so big, so we have to work hard to map it all and discover ressources.
Also road system is really good : you want fast travel? build it. People who work hard can "project" their forces far away, i think it's fair.
It's not really hard to build a road that will save you 2 hours of travel, for exemple. It's a nice village work and goal.
I wait now for a better utility of village claims (kingdoms?).

I definitely think the world should be either shrunk, OR the best resources be in the middle of the world to encourage conflict.

Think about it, really there is no game-advantage to war or even having neighbors. The incentive from a game progression standpoint is to find the safest quietest most isolated spot there is and grind up there. But that is also the most boring way to play. When the most boring way to play is the most ideal from a progress standpoint, that is a problem.

So give incentive to be near the middle, near people. Think the cornucopia from Hunger Games

Have you ever got ambushed while using the road system? Guess not...

The problem is not that you need to spend your time and effort building the road, the problem is that the road is a major hazard both to the people using it and to the village that has it near them.

Being unable to defend yourself due to the time it takes to render the screen only to find out you got killed sucks major balls.

And any village that builds a road system that leads from noob grid to your village will have major issues with griefers using the road to harass you.

Unless these problems are fixed the road system is pretty useless.

the 1900-2000 players that have left sooner made the right move. Lets be honest THERE IS NO HOPE, THEY WILL NOT CHANGE AND IT IS ALREADY TOO LATE!

It is not the travel/pvp system that make people quit, it's the pathetic trial & p2p suscription model

honestly anyone can use up 7 hours in a day but honestly a week? whats even the point of identifying if all you get is 14 hours a week? should have been triple that number.

should have been a buy to play model, but what can you say? Doesn't surprise me at all #Jorb
