In this new game.. you get 1 or 2 hit and ur dead, it sucks. I'm talking just about the combat cuz it is the most important part of the game for me but other aspects are bad too, like that "fate" thing, 2 months of subscription and playing few hours a day and I havent found any "fate" based curio like edel, bluebell, pearl or flotsam.

A fight can last a long time if you know what you're doing and so does the other guy, until one of you makes a critical mistake and gets wrecked for it. Is that really so different than legacy? Admittedly though I haven't actually experienced much group pvp this world but based on what I have done and what I have been told it's a huge clusterfuck, which is also not that much different from legacy if I recall.

hahahalOLXDXDXDlo#@$Ll
you're talking about things you have no clue about, such things as combat bots didn't exist

Thats my fault for writing fast with the mobile. I was talking about a slow fighting system that wasnt intuitive. Then I wanted to talk about how easy was to bot tasks.
As a legacy fighter I agree with you: I was bad as shit and I never trully learned how that thing worked because failures tended to death in a world where ants killed people. Even with the last tier if a deer or a fox stacked enough coins and you had 0 idea how the system worked you could be finally knocked out.
It was easy for me to kill when I was highly superior in stats but i never really learned how to fight. I could never learned about it also because the gmt difference with my pals, that were mostly from USA or Australia. were a problem for sparring.
Thats what I meant.

Remember guys, every more experienced player had like 5-6 alts, 2-3 warriors, crafter, miner..
And that's like 75-90$ per month, that's too much for most of players.. okay you can have 1 warrior, 1 crafter, but it's still 30$ per month, and lot's of people wouldn't pay for it..
Combat system was really cool, it would be perfect if old times could come back..
Legacy Haven doesn't deserve to be forgotten by next generations :D

whats wrong with me, is that i just wanted a couple of fucking days of peace, but nah your stupid polish ass has to go and fuck it up by ko'ing ppl on the NK realm and casusing more issues and drama.

The irony of this is that we have combat bots this world because combat is so stupidly easy to bot. You can also use 1 UA alts with rage as combat assistants this world if you wanted to with these combat bots. Never really got invested heavily enough to actually want to take the combat bots out for a test run though sadly (if i wanted to play a walking simulator i'd go play dayz), but we did have a bot that would follow a main and fight with it by targeting the mains target and attacking it with pathfinding and everything. I never saw anything like that in legacy.

Also, reading your followup, the current version of haven is just as easy to bot as the old. The only difference is you can't bot bluebells/edels/flotsams because these curios might as well not even exist for how rare they are.

Oh shit. DjClarck sir i didnt want to say that. I wasnt talking about boting combat....
And if this world melees are boted devs should do something about it...
Its 31 of december, cant stay sober at all xD
"Also, reading your followup, the current version of haven is just as easy to bot as the old"

LIES . You cannot do it as SIMPLY as in the other worlds because of the "lighting" system.
I want to add that devs trials to solve it has become something worse than the bots itself.

Thats cancer. +1

Ya i read your post about that comment being about other things, not combat after i posted :P. The rest of the game hasn't changed so significantly to discourage botting. The only thing that's really been stopped is botting bluebells, flotsams and edels (now we get to bot glimmermoss instead) because of the fate system (which I think is an awful system).

Well, when i played Salem under J&L rule, "lighting" system was IMO something to avoid bots. A repetitive and random mechanic that could even hurt the char trying to light a fire. The only reason that comes to my mind to do something as awful and hateable as that is trying to avoid people boting.
I can't see any other reason to add a mechanic like that.
In hafen you don't get hurted when you fail, but maybe it's to make bots dizzy. I don't see other reasons to add that. :?:

What's the point of him wasting money on a game that has no players or no future? Why would he want to be stupid enough to invest in a game that nobody plays

taking salem's mechanics doesn't seem like alot of time and effort, i understand you are a loyal fan but let's be honest.. they aren't perfect and they have failed considering even the normal haven had a higher player count.
