No, he's not, by no countries standards for drinking age. That is if he's to be believed on what he said his age is.

Seriously? That's like saying cigarettes build strong and healthy lungs.

Alcohol in various forms are actually healthy when used in moderation. I'd preach about the benefits of other things that everyone tells you to never do, but this is the wrong thread for it, and don't send me PMs about the matter. Take everything you're taught at face value. Just like all faces, there's always some motivation behind the expression.

i dont drink alot, mainly as i hate public transport filled with pissed people after a music gig... So i just drive... life = easier.

But when i do have a drink, ive just discovered spiced rum. Never used to like it when i was younger, but now its my easy to get go to beverage.

However, my favorite... is mead. Oh god, i wish i could get mead easily (as in my local supermarket). its not that its hard to get, i know of two places that sell it in my city, and Amazon does it also. I just wish supermarkets done it so i didnt have to go out of my way.

I cant touch larger/beer any more, as they trigger my migraines after about 2 mouth fulls/swigs/sips. But i used to drink coores.

Not many meaderies close to where i live. The two that i prefer are literally opposite sides of the country, and i pretty much live in the middle.

Cornwall and Edinburgh... and i live in windy Liverpool.

Although i suppose it is reason enough to visit Cornwall again.

I am a Cider drinker

Went to rome last year and had to drink beer. Same in Poland. I can't get over how cider simply isn't a thing in some countries. And in alot of others they might just do like 1 or 2 big brands like strongbow, and most people haven't experienced GOOD strong cider like a west country SCRUMPY.

Image

This is usually my pre-drinking drink of choice as you can get in seemingly any supermarket in UK, and its 8.2% and still tastes better than cheapass cider like strongbow.

Image

Special mention goes to scrumpy jack which can also be found in alot of supermarkets, and is best can'd cider I know of (altho not many ciders come canned). I only saw it on tap once and it was much better of course.

my favourite cider is cornish rattler on tap in cornwall. but you can sometimes find it elsewhere in UK in bottle form, although its not as good I'd still rate it. it says only 6% but watch yerself!

But if you really want to party you want a big ol bottle o' scrumpy.

You can go with a 1L bottle from same company as rattler (healey's):

Or 2L from the same company as henry westons:

Both are about 7.5% and have a strong bite. I can't remember which I prefer, probably because both are quite lethal. Here is relevant picture of me drinking scrumpy in suitable scrumpy-drinking attire:

Being from Canada it always amuses me when people from Europe complain about how far away other places are. I live in the center of mine, and it's an 8 hour drive to either side to get to the next province, the short way. When we go to my grams for Christmas, it's a 14 hour ride the first day, then we stop in Saskatoon, and the next day 6 hours before we reach the last small town and my gram meets us, and she leads us for the last 4 hours to get to her house

You have not experienced the largest car park in the UK... the M6. Cornwall should take about 6 hours from where i am, unless you get stuck on the M6, then you add 2 hours.

But we do have it good here, canada is bigger than the whole of the EU.
