The problem is how they work, they gave tons of resources at the start of the world and almost none after they were depleted; it should work quite the other way, they should begin with 0 or 1 of their respective resource and gradually regain more and more with each decay tick.

An enormous advantage like salt or ice shards as a noob destroys all competition, even if you don't claim the node, just having a cupboard full of salt gives a ridiculous head start

They shouldnt give anything at first week, but after that regeneration rate starts going up, increasing as world gets older. To reduce stat cap between people that started on first day and those who started on second month.

I wouldn't say those roots heal every wound instantly, they only heal the same amount of hhp as their quality. Also the ageless ice is like a two week+ spawn which you get one at a time out of and no one even had troll skulls until recently.

Plus they cannot be stored up; they decay, possibly in as little as 48 hours (as I've heard once, not sure if true).

the goddamn salt is fucking the game up real bad it spawns way too frequent and ruins the fukn balance and reminds me how shit the game is, the period between spawns should be way BIGGER

This means that to most people, Salt is worth less than Steel. If it really is as gamebreaking as some are claiming, surely it would be worth more than something that can be made by anyone with a bit of time and effort?

steel is like one of the most valuable resources early game, wait until later when every town will have cupboards of steel i will want to see how you will sell the salt then xDDD

its fucked up when the average of attributes is like 50 but then theres these few nolifers with 200+ attributes already who used salts apperantly and can basically kill groups of people alone
salt is bullshit in current state or atleast the spawn time should be random for each spot so they don't spawn at the same time to all spots or just make the spawn period bigger
