Who said I shot offscreen? Next time I go back to Aramore, I can easily post where I was in my boat. Preaiming towards the gate is not in any way "abusing mechanics". The guy walked out of the gate, aggro'd my friend (While I'm in clear view) and died for it. They only have themselves to blame for getting merked.

Eh, I feel ppl like Moisture are *needed* in a game like HnH. Even if just so there's some sort of danger and ppl for vigilantes and large factions to hunt down.

Some criers got upset that I'm PvPing in a game that is well known for PvP'ing and decided to try claim I'm fucking abusing shit, when all that actually happened is we got in a scuffle, both sides lost one person, and I'm now asking some questions regarding horses, which was supposed to be the entire point of the thread.

Nobody has even gave me an answer as to why the attack command would not let me aggro that horse that was wandering around which gave me the message "This is property of Aramore" for some silly reason.

The Straw Man fallacy is committed when a person simply ignores a person's actual position and substitutes a distorted, exaggerated or misrepresented version of that position. This sort of "reasoning" has the following pattern:

Yeah, I think people like Moisture should be in the game. A little less crass, rude, violent and wrong, but definitely raiders and vigilantes are a flavor option in the game.

It's not bug abuse, but it's definitely mechanical abuse. He did something with no risk that can't be predicted, expected or helped and was rewarded for it. He then complained that in the ensuing fair fight, he couldn't abuse the same things and so he lost.

Archery is stupid because it ignores armor and the entire rest of the combat system.

Moisture probably logs on every morning to five nidbane duels. They aren't strong enough.

Actually not a single person said PvP shouldn't be a thing, or people shouldn't PvP. What was said that you complaining about the events and circumstances was really stupid, considering the risk free nature at which you were going about it. You keep mentioning people not wanting PvP(even though that was never said anywhere, nor was it implied) The reason you mention this is to strawman, which is the most common way people like you "win" "arguments", even though there's no winning, or real argument here, more like a statement of opinions, mine of which being you're rather hollow headed for not being "rewarded with two kills, due to hard work put into the fight." Sounds like sound combat. A gate is a choke point, a gate close to a river source should be consider a danger in and of it self. The fact they did not have the other three guys first flank then open the door shows that while they were willing, but lacked skill in knowing how to perform combat manuvers.

If any of the big factions hunt us down, we are fucked. Simple as that. As I said, there's like 2-3 of us. It's not like there's 8 of us going around in Knarr's specifically looking for spruce caps and small hermit places to kill. We boat around for hours, find nobody usually, then log for the day. We usually attack whoever we find, regardless of who they are, due to the hours of frustration of just looking for people. I'd prefer if more people fought back like today. It was extremely fun.
But yes, one day we will attack the wrong people and die for it, and we're totally okay with that. My friend didn't cry about his death today, he just remade and is working on his new guy now.

The only thing I don't agree with in this thread is people claiming I am "abusing" various things. It's not my fault archery is overpowered now, is it? Today was like the second time I used my archer alt. I'm usually on my main who is close combat oriented, so I too was surprised that I 1 shotted somebody in steel.

Yes, I could barely see the gate, but where oh where did I say I killed him at his gate? I said he came out, aggro'd my friend, then died to me.
This will all be cleared up later on when I head back to Aramore and show you exactly where he died via the scents. I was clearly visible to him.
