I think it's a shame that people don't take it more seriously than we currently do. American politicians in particular hardly talk about it despite it being a growing problem. Unfortunately cutting back on carbon emisions would, right now, necessitate a drastic drop or change in quality of life. Leaving a broken world for our kids suck.

On the otherside, I don't think using sad images of emaciated polar bears to guilt people into giving a damn is the best way to garner attention to it.

Simply put someone who is cisgender is someone whose gender aligns with the gender they were assigned at birth. The confusion with it usually lies in conflating biological sex with gender. Transgenders are individuals that change their gender, a social concept, from the gender assigned to them at birth.
