They could grow up or seek serious therapy if they're so easily offended/reliant on other's opinions.

Actually the most common victims (kids-teens) are those that haven't quite defined they self-image yet and thus easy prey to cyberbullying. The worst ones are from those that they know which has far greater impact than some random stranger online flaming you.

I do not think being this young is some excuse for being this stupid.

Yet look at all the psychoses and other issues stemming from problems confronted in pre-teen and teen years. Obviously it does cause problems and stupidity has nothing to do with it. How guardians, peers, and mentors react to it is more telling in what's going to come later.

You saying these things does not making it true. Even the child can determine that if the bad man types his bad words on the screen, the child can stop looking at this words. If this child can not figure this one out, he is stupid.

Being "stupid" is often the result of underlying issues caused by or ignored by parents and mentors. Sure some kids are just retarded, but others are made that way.

People do abuse this word ''stupid'' for meaning some things they do not like. I do this abuse here, probably. But I think to say men have no responsibility for this stupidity because parents/mentors do not teach them well is not correct. A smart man will be smart and a dumb man will be dumb no matter what these mentor will tell them.
