Why would anyone protest a reset when there's no reason to believe there'd be one?

If there is no political action on this world, then what reason is there to believe that a world reset changes that?

Make a secondary countdown server that auto resets every month and creates another random world

the buyer buff would be very valuable

Early server is a lot of fun, this would bring old and new players

I still think Temporary Events or Temporary World Events would help a bit in encouraging player interaction (or at least constant exploration). A meteorite spawns with silver on the inside, giving hermits a little bit of wealth and incentive to go outside their walls. Birds could migrate between areas of the map, making their feathers more sought out (different color'd feathers being used for things like Gilding and Curiosities). A run away Troll somehow escaped into the world.

Also, maybe slightly smaller worlds would be beneficial? At least for the current player base?
World 12: Quit at some point.
World 11: Community Fair Worker

I kind of like the idea above, but the world would have to be much smaller.

Also resting the world does not fix anything. I think the devs should start rethinking mechanics for the game that would make the game continuously interesting.

Why don't the updates focus on creating such dynamism then?
Kingdoms, seasons, slower progression, aging and decay: from our part, the community has already given lots of suggestions to keep the same world renewing itself and to increase motivation for social interaction.

Kingdoms wouldn't work. Nabs already cry how literally everything is already claimed. Imagine how much whining we'd have to put up with if it was.

The idea is the nabs would be able to use the things claimed by the kingdom as long as they swear fealty. A bit more than being a hermit, not quite as much as being a member of a village. Then again, they're nabs and they wouldn't understand this distinction. /shrug

No matter how you're gonna work on the dynamism of the world etc, this one should get restarted after you're done with the combat. Resource timers + people that got to know which ones are important, combat changes, archery changes - its enough to give us a new world. Summer is here, a lot of people have tons of free time and would love to play, but right now its just pointless on the old, boring world.
