I think this whole thing is blown out of proportion. The extremists are simply being misunderstood for trying to express their feelings the only way they know how. I think the brutal French response is really way out of hand. Perhaps if borders were opened wider and with less restrictions we wouldn't see these miscommunications in culture?

Technically, one does not have to be a chicken and have the ability to lay eggs to determine that the omelette is bad. I'm sure we'll have an earful and then some with the Republican National Convention this coming week.

I still don't want to vote for Trump. I do want to nuke the jihadists. I, however, don't want to injure the innocents in the way. (Fuck you, Truman.)

Violence begets more violence, but some people refuse to sit down to a table and talk. They just want to watch the world burn. The only way to deal with such people is to burn them out of the world picture as precisely as possible. The world isn't fire proof.

Also, if we want to argue as to why or why not Islam is a religion of peace, we could very easily pull the same sort of lines from the Torah and Bible, yet only radical Jews and Christians teach that such things should apply to today's world. Everyone else teaches that these were commands directed toward the people of the time past, not toward the people of today.
