I think it would be nice if this forum and game in general were supportive of the more common non-english languages and by that I don't mean the users on the forum itself. I mean that there should be language specific sections at least for general chat, questions, in-game stuff like Moot and AfO.

Of course that would require moderators who speak those languages but I'm sure jorb and loftar could figure out some worthy candidates were they to do that.

Custom client translations are an excellent step in that direction as well and I give props to those guys for working on that.

North American players used to dominate the player count in previous worlds, at least during their peak times, but lately player count has been mostly russian by a large margin.

D&T is multilingual anyways ... common since long that everyone should be able to recruit in his or her language

How are russian and polish HnH forums going today ?

Maybe we should start with few subforums like HDI and WT and have language subsections ?

And open AfO multilingual aswell ?!?

Speaking of russian one,

There are assorted groups on russian social network though. Ve-ery cancerous, compared to... well, anything. I tried to frequent one and it was like "grand list of simple questions, last 3 pages on an infinite loop" *shudders*

Now you know what it feels like to be a minority. I've never had trouble finding people who speak english though and I do often consider joining a village of players whose first language is not english, I think it would be a good experience if frustrating at times.

That's kinda racist. I dont think this game was specifically «made» for any nation or speakers of certain language; and i dont see anything wrong with people from different parts of the world (both ingame and real-life) playing the game and speaking different languages. Sorta adds to the immersion, perhaps.
And pretty much everybody speaks Pidgin English in one form or the other, however bad it might be.

Anyways, feels good to be bilingual. My village is about 50/50 Russian and English speakers and i think it works out rather well.

Edit: words.

It's not racist the game is literally in English man. It's just the way it is.
