Please, point out to me where he "slanders" Islam? Where he calls Jinns "Fairytales?" If I said "Jesus didn't actually have any superhero healing powers," would you lash out at me the exact same way?

Sorry I don't think disparaging the LARGEST RELIGIOUS DEMOGRAPHIC ON EARTH is funny. Especially given the current refugee situation it's not exactly "coincidental" either. I don't tolerate racism and bigotry, it's pathetic.

EDIT: My roommate was Muslim and I had to deal with people like you EVERY DAY. It's the 21st century. Get used to it.

Actually it wasn't an insult. Djinns are, in a way, fairies. They are very similar if not equal in how they are described  .

They're described as demons. Don't try to apologize for that, it's very clear what was intended by calling the Islamic faith a "fairy tale". I'm genuinely amazed a moderator feels comfortable saying something like that despite the seemingly monthly reminder we have hardcore racists and xenophobes in the community who try to push their ideals.

Talk, learn about it, if it seems maleficent, leave it alone. If not, maybe even leave it alone then because I might not understand the far-reaching consequences of wishing for something from an unearthly spirit.

Isn't that because you had this muslim roommate and had to deal with biggots everyday that now you see it behind every comment or criticism on that religion?

Even if he did mean it as 'nonsense tales' or 'a fable' then yes, i have to agree. Most religions are tales of fantasy and superior beings that noone has ever seen or heard. As far as i am concerned they are all a fairytales, originally maybe made for the benefit of man, but ruined and corrupted by the hands of man to control man. Wether it's christianity, islam, scientology or even if you believe that the Omnipotent and Holy Spagetti Monster is in control of everything, it's all a big joke in my belief.

"Islam is a fairy tale" is not criticism. That is not constructive. That is not critique. It's literally belittling billions of people because of their faith.

EDIT: And you know, NOTHING Ysh said had to do with Islam other than the origin of genies. And yet Granger decides to attack the faith anyways as if that were the fulcrum of Ysh's argument? Oh please.
