Might as well refer to them as anti-psychotic drugs salespersons with a penchant for forcing square blocks into round holes instead of finding them a square hole.

i think psychologists cant sell/prescribe drugs my frend i think it is job of a psychiatrist but i think psychologists r veryyyyyy dumb!

I don't even really know if I ever had an issue in the first place or if some shitter was making stuff up to get more appointments, because I feel no different now after I'm apparently better.

lol i was diagnosed with autism but my parents and me know i dont have it and im like the smartest person that anyone knows irl

It's not just psychology. That story is just another example of inherent human greed, an element of our psyche which has been flourishing kudos capitalism.

Psychologists refer you to a psychiatrist, and their recommendation is given substantial weight if only due to confirmation bias. Or whatever. I don't have a high opinion of psychiatry either because the brain is more than just chemicals. It's a complex geometric structure. Changing chemicals alone is a pretty heavy-handed approach because you really have to flood it with high doses compared to its original state, and in any case the brain usually just re-routes or whatever to return to its natural state rendering the drugs useless after a while and screwing the subjects brain in the process. Yes I used the term subject intentionally.

Pretty much the only successful anti-psychotics are heavy sedatives. I'd rather just smoke weed.

I have a good friend and a cousin who smoked weed to deal with their mental problems at a young age. My cousin started smoking around 16-17 to deal with anxiety, and by the time he was 21 he had dropped out of school twice and developed a learning disorder. A friend of mine developed drug-induced psychosis, where he would wake up in the middle of the night, scream and slam doors because his head was so messed up. I'm pretty sure he also developed a learning disorder or something because he seems a lot slower than he was before he started smoking. I doubt he'll ever be able to get a good education as he had planned in high school. Both their lives are ruined, I've only not fallen down their path by luck.

I know this might seem like an out of place post on a Eastern-Germanic lifestyle simulation board but it's a sensitive subject for me.

All I can say to that is everyone has different brain chemistry.

I am strongly against teenage drug use however.
