Also the emergence of such a machine will face substantial competition. By the time it rears its ugly head it will likely not be as anglo-saxon as its original inception.

I think fascism is much more prevalent of a influence than socialism.

Irrelevant, no. But you should be concerned who is waiting and wanting to be at the top. Some are far worse.

They each had a point or two and most certainly pointed out the problems. How to solve them I was not so impressed with. To much grand us, them, and we and little meaningful solution.

I haven't encountered much fascism in my travels, but what I have encountered has always been among the french and the americans. Globally I'd say it's pretty uncommon. The house in suburbia, fast food and a big car. The agricultural methods. The treatment of minorities and the poor. Reveling in a stagnant capitalist society. The misguided sense of self importance, arrogance and outright fear of everything outside their own borders. These are the elements which I find toxic and fascist about the USA. I understand the historical reasons for some of these things but it doesn't excuse them. Every country has its issues but it becomes toxic when that nation is unable to retain the fetid mess within their own borders and it spills out regularly and affects us all.

You forgot the military-industrial complex that runs rampant in the US, which (as you already mentioned) wouldn't be so bad if that would only affect the US but since want to make more money they make wars worldwide to fill their coffers...

It's been 150, almost 160, years now since one was elected, and the Libertarians at least want us to go back to a more basic form of government. (Yeah, not much they can do without any actual seats in congress or the senate, but we have to start somewhere.)

I agree with the idea of the Libertarian party but I think that Gary is a hack, and I think his immigration plan is unrealistic. I think that Trump's plans to lower restrictions/taxes on corporations and the upper class is more in line with a Libertarian motive and he actually has a chance at winning.

For my personal needs, Trump is best. If I were actually voting I don't think he would be my first choice but being a non-American, all I really want out of this election is for the American economy to be more healthy and for American products in my country to be cheaper. Donald has shown a through understanding of economics and international politics though his speeches and also considering he's made millions of dollars so he's without a doubt the best candidate in that area. The immigration issues don't really effect me or bother me at all so I prefer to almost tone it out. The wall is a good meme though.

The USA is becoming irrelevant only to the extent that it is being superseded by anglo-american globalist world government, which -- e pluribus unum -- is the same thing.

It's your own fault jorb. Your people should have colonized canada when they had the chance 1000 years ago. They didnt, and now we have to see the world being ruled by a damned and possibly drunk frisian spawn who makes speeches with a 12-word palette.
