Bro. I live in a house from the 70s that gets a ton of spiders, and I let them all live when I find them (glass cup and some paper to put them outside) but if I see a black widow I will burn its face off with a bbq lighter and then torch its children shortly after without giving a single fuck.

Ya we do that hear with black widows, since we moved many many years ago, its been a whole lot less. but we have taken a small blow torch to them.... things are tough. Even sprayed with poison rated for them... took a while for it to take affect... they are scary and that it before they bite you.
I normaly enjoy watching spiders, but some are just to bad for you to be around.

Redbacks aren't so bad, they usually leave you alone if you leave them alone. I had one living in a cup on my bedside table for about a month, but then it died. I called him Larry and he used to eat the any insects that came into my room.

You all are monsters. Timothy is a bro. I feed him little bugs and I say hello to him every morning when he's under his cinderblock.

I myself am a friend to spiders. They really do a great job of controlling the insect population. However, I just won't mess with the ones that will land you in the hospital from a bite. It's just not worth it. Had to get rid of a widow today that was hiding in my wheelbarrow, unfortunately. They're stubborn little shits that don't know when to run (probably from being able to kill anything smaller than medium sized dog).
