Salem sucks but tokens are the biggest bullshit in Haven honestly. I'd kinda be fine with subscriptions if tokens weren't a thing. Not only can you buy an advantage with money in Haven, but you can also turn the advantage into an ingame item that can be traded for actual ingame items. Literally paying real money for ingame currency.

In HnH terms, the skull essentially teaches you murder without needing to spend any lp. You can still unlock the skill in-game but it's much harder than simply buying a skull
