Glimmermoss spawnrate decreased?

could be that it only spawns in the cave tunnels and not the open caverns. I have only found 1 glimmer and it was in a tunnel.

Pls devs. The only reason to go into a cave as a forager was glimmers.. Its so stupid found 1 so far and searched quite a lot.

I'm pretty sure Loftar & Jorb change such thing on purpose each world just to look at us like ant searching for the solution.

I'm bringing this thread back to the front in hopes of trying to further this discussion. With the new addition of Credos, I chose the foraging credo, and I'm currently on the third quest in the main foraging credo quest-line, which, for those who aren't doing the foraging credo requires you to bring glimmermoss to the X character. I've been reading up on this (both this thread and more alike) and from what I've gathered from just this thread, that glimmermoss apparently spawns in the cave tunnels rather than the large caverns.
I happen to be lucky enough to have a large cave tunnel network nearby, so I've been exploring the tunnels for quite a bit now and have yet to see a single moss. Since I've gotten enough PERC*EXPL to see moss, I believe I've only seen one. I'm now currently up to just a bit over 6K. Perhaps I need to explore more, perhaps I need a higher score..but from what I've been reading, I may not see one at all.

I'm just curious to see any updates to this, as this issue hasn't had any attention since January*.

*That is, just on the glimmermoss situation. A simple search in The Inn and HDI of "Glimmermoss" yields only 117 results with the mot recent being 1/24/17

from my personal exp, i go to caves alot and dont see glimmers, i go to a cave in mountains and i see glimmers try that "location"
