Your stream is maybe large part of Haven and Hearth industry.

Highly doubtful

Some of my videos might help for promotion I suppose

Have you thought why we get so small updates and not even one/week?

Obviously devs have a lot of money. They dont develop the game, but instead spend their time on playing blackjack and buying hookers.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the player base earns more then them. I can't see this game being stupidly profitable.

I lold, most of the player base is russian, they come from sweden. I guess even with half time work + hnh they are better off than most russians :)
But yeah this is without taking the living costs into account.

The amount they earn is tied to the number of subscriptions which is tied to the number of players which is tied to number of players who give the game a try and stick around which is tied to the number of players who give the game a try which is tied to the number of players interested in the game which is tied to the number of players who know about the game. Now a lot of people don't know about the game but that is not the main problem them main problem is that of those that do most will not even try it because hardcore permadeath with huge time investment (and if they dig a bit deeper they will know about the wild west forums and the bots and the alts and word of mouth most of the time will lose you a customer than gain you one which is not what you want). Of those stupid fucks that do give it a try most will play a bit until they either get grieffed killed or figure out how grindy this game can really be if you want to stand any chance at all. These revelations usually come all at once. All of these things are under the control of Jorb and Loftar but they value ideological purity more than being reasonable and making a fun game for more than few dozen/hundred raider types.

The world doesn't need yet another satisfying achievement-unlocked hugbox euphoria needle game. Devs have an idea for Haven and they make it happen despite the fact that some of the mechanics are offputting to the general population. Ideological purity is the most important thing when it comes to developing games, if it weren't every game would turn into Clash of Clans.

Also you make it seem like raider types are the only ones who enjoy playing this game and this is simply false. I know countless peaceful larpers who love playing Haven.

If you need a satisfying euphoria needle go play WoW, Clash of Clans, CoD, or any other popular game today.

Also Haven probably has some of the best mechanic ideas, I changed my mind about wounds, they're actually a legit way to avoid permadeath being the only punishment for mistakes. Gildings instead of all gear giving its own set of stats are brilliant because it lets you cosmetically customize yourself while still staying true to your role, unlike the lazy mechanic Trove implemented - giving a gun with certain stats the skin of another gun, etc.

Game is flawed and mostly not fun, sure, but it's getting better every major update. It went a long way from w6-style lagfest bugram impenetrable vault dick flaunting world to the world 10 kingdoms, etc.

All this only being made by 2 weirdos AND they haven't succumbed too much to greed (tokens make the game pay to win but if those were removed...)
