As a Westerner looking east, the entire continent looks like a deathtrap to me.
I know it's not smart to become sensationalized by the media but goddamn it doesn't seem like there's a "safe" place to be had over there

I went to the US once for about 4 hours and the process was so terrible that I swore to never return lol

Statistical changes for even seeing such a strike ever in your lifetime are so small. I'd rather choose to visit all of Finlands christmas events than spend a weekend at USA, with the risk of getting shooted either by police or by some ordinary citizen.

Can we all agree that we are ignorant to what is happening in other countries from what I can only explain as hyperbole? I mean, America is still better (although blacks and amerifat suck ): ) but there can't be that many migrant sex attacks and terror, yeah? Cultures can be summed up similarly, although the public events in Europe sound more fun then the drugs and parties here (albeit together that sounds even better).

See, this is where you are wrong. Us euros used to have very reasonable governments, but in some strange turns of history they were all physically removed, so to speak, by one very particular geopolitical entity based entirely outside of the continent.

I think most of all, the belief that we can all be equal and live in the same society is a fabrication of fantasy. The simple fact is that humans are different. They don't like different. They want to be surrounded by their family and their kin. When you bring in outsiders you create alienation and breed discontent. I think superficially people pretend to enjoy diversity; but inherently, there's a dissatisfaction for having to interact with someone fundamentally different than you.

The friends I grew up with down the street will forever mean more to me than the man I met yesterday. Can he tell me fond memories of Eldon Lyon park? Share in my love of the trees in Woodlawn? Did he shares summers running barefoot in the grass with me?

What a shame it is, that now we cannot celebrate the wonders of our home and heritage. I live in Oklahoma, the land of the Red Man. Its history is rife with blood and tears, but did that not lead to the creation of what we are today? How can I not look towards what has happened and what led to where we are and be proud of it? My family has lived and died here for generations, should I not be proud?
