Its possible to celebrate without being overly wasteful or a burden on others.
I don't see why anyone would stop celebrating just because they lack funds or feel like its morally wrong.
Maybe if you are too dumb to celebrate cheap you deserve to not have a good time.

I hate all occasions that involve gifts. I have a hard enough time picking out good stuff for myself, let alone for somebody else. Also, Christmas music is ear grating. All I can think about when I hear it in stores is how much those poor employees must hate their lives.

If you want some "unique" Christmas music, look up Kevin Bloody Wilson on youtube. Start with "Hey Santa Claus", but be warned, his songs are very nsfw and have a fair amount of swearing.
