I am considering to move to Sweden or Norway.
The cold never bothered me anyway is a sentence that I could have said myself and scandinavia seems like a nice place to live.
I would also consider to go on vaccation to finland from there, but would probably never live there...it's way too off the grid and I have troubles learning anything like russian.

But at the very least I will visit Sweden and Norway as soon as I don't depend on expiring working contracts.

Finnish is not even near russian as a language, its from whole different group. Nothing similiar.
Also Finland is not off the grid, norway is. Do you realize that most of norway is full of mountains, its VERY dificult to go anywhere. You basically always have to fly or then drive 4 hours around the mountains, might be fun at first but its not that nice.
And as I said, the mountains and gulf stream make living in norway not-so-nice. In Finland its sunny at least sometimes.

I have no idea why most people say something like "i want to live in norway" why? You have fetish for people that look like cupboards?
Everything costs a lot around there too.

New Zealeand also has issues, its far away from everything, so everything costs a lot. Want to travel somewhere? Well long flights are not cheap. Want to order some products from foreign lands? You have to pay massive shipping fees.

If somebody will ever decides move to North Norway i can explain a bit how life goes here.

I live in Finnmark, its nice around, but still - not nice place to live. Winter lasts for 8 months and the last 4 months is spring-summer-autumn mixed together and in this mixed period most time its just cloudy, rainy, windy and cold. In winter best activities you can have is skying and snow scooters, in summer - fishing, hiking, camping (but you gonna die from mosquitos and "knots" out there). There is some other activities you can do, but everyone should not forget one thing: in Norway, everything what is fun - forbidden.

Food is literately - shit. First its expensive, second - lack of variety. We often driving to Finland or Sweden so we can buy better food.

Prices for everything is high, but payment also high. But to find wok nowadays is hard, especially for foreigners that dont speak norwegian.

Traveling takes forever, everywhere is long distances. If you want to fly somewhere first you need fly to Oslo, so it means only flight form north to Oslo gonna cost 60% of your total flight price.

So if somebody gonna move then better move to south Norway, life bit easier there. :D

Finland's nice. I personally want to live in Norway above Denmark, Finland, etc. because of a couple of reasons:

-Some people close to me are Norwegian
-I've been to Norway 3 times and not a single time in Denmark or Finland
-Norway is richer, prices are high but they're high in Finland too, the wages in Finland don't compensate for the prices nearly as much as Norway does
-Lower crime rate

also finnish music is trash and I don't like alcoholism
