I don't get what your argument is here.

Happy people don't consume.

I am one of these happy people and consume more than like 80% of the other people on this planet.

Well, for starters, real incomes should be growing instead of falling.

Can the OP be tidied up so that it actually provides context rather than just being like, "oh man THAT guy! Haha omg can you believe what he said??? You know, about the thing??"

Not everyone follows the politics of the shithouse countries :ugeek:

That's because they're not homeless. They're con men and the people that give them money are suckers.
I can go spend $5 and get over 1000 calories in one meal, easily. But yes, we're in the fucking dark ages.

you can go to Dollar Tree or such and get over 1000 for a $1.

I'm with onep here. Taking the context of the last ~500 years we're living in a modern utopia. We have however hit a rough patch, but that's not entirely unnatural.

It is difficult to reconcile the utopia the first world has created against the third world we left behind, especially given the sophistication of modern technology.

Ultimately, I think humans as a species need conflict to thrive, and when there's not enough environmental or external conflict (disease, famine, wild animals) we tend to create internal conflict (war, mass shootings, third wave feminism).

incidentally, this philosophy can be applied to haven and hearth with similiar outcomes.

The US is actually breaking records in ressurecting medieval diseases like measles while China is literally curing space aids.

But yeah, the world as a whole is better than ever before. There are some numbers proving it in the internets.

Also I have the feeling this president has mastered the art of making people from all around the world never stop talking about him, as this thread is surely a good example of.

Well the first president in the West it's saying we should give guns to teachers ... do you realize the level of worthlessness we have achieved? it's how we think nowadays that is alarming

boi if you give guns to teachers nothing will be able to stop the uprising

If Einstein had a M16 history would be very different. Now hush and let Trump think this was his idea.

Ok :D fun but you don't realize .... I explain to you, it's not the bullshit per se, it's the fact that he can say whatever the fuck he wants ... that thing tells way more about all of us than him. That's the level we are in now.
