If you can't at least ignore the prevalent attitudes, mores, and other nuances of a particular Discord channel, then don't visit it. If you want to openly argue with the status quo of the channel, then you get what's coming. Anyone looking to walk into a gay bar IRL and start a fight is likely to get their ass beat rather than dish out an ass beating. Can you expect anything else just because you're on the Internet? Also, nobody is forcing you to like homosexuality, just acknowledge that it isn't your choice, and let people live their own lives the best way they see fit. Folks always want to bitch about the Nanny State and Big Brother, but quite often their the first ones to try to put their own world view on others.

My opinion: It's not an official channel, and the channel moderators can run it the best way they see fit. The only possible issue I can see is that jorb and loftar have picked one channel to be present in. (For what it's worth, I believe the Goons ran the IRC channel. I may be mistaken on that, but they usually had someone with mod rights over the channel whenever I logged in.) Shubla's efforts for another option are to be applauded, as it just provides other means of communication for community members. Same with coles and anyone else that has a public channel for others to come hang in..

Be easier if someone posted it but I stated how I'd like to be Russian because Putin supports a strong family model while the west supports turning little boys into little girls. I then said that I know where I would rather bring my kids up.

You must have missed the part where the entire community thinks that your bad reputation is your very own doing.

You are very eager to share many, many strong political, social and controversial views and opinions that are knowingly against the grain of the norm.
You argue with people about them as often as possible.
Having 50 people aggressively disagree with you when you say something like "gay people should be lynched" is not bullying.
You are not a victim, you just have a very unfortunate victim syndrome. You are practically a professional victim.
