Democracy to the extreme where all issues are voted on by the population rather than being negotiated between representatives of the population. In the age of nearly instantaneous information sharing, it's possible, but I don't think it wise.
Potjeh was specifically saying that lobbying goes against the foundations of democracy (all types), and I was agreeing.
There is obviously a difference between representative democracy and direct democracy, but when one refers to just "democracy" it is normal to mean "representative democracy" as we don't really have examples of real world direct democracy.
