Primordia - a sci-fi point-and-click adventure. Exceptionally well done writing and superb art and soundtrack, has a Blade Runner meets Ridley Scott's Alien feel to it.

Until I Have You - by one of the Primordia developers. Quite different from the above - a hardcore retro platformer. Same great story line adn (pixel)art though.

lol! How is combat in stellaris? are there limitation to where ships can go or such? played some other similar games and once my fleet was too strong AI would spam small fleets that would just flee all around the universe/inside my borders and be annoying.

Stellaris is pretty nice. Gets boring once you have the upper hand though.

Are there any strategy game that does not feel as grind once you have overwhelming force?

I guess not. So far it has been either I overwhelm everyone pretty fast, or Im wiped a few years in.
On harder difficulties you need to put more assets into the fleet and fast.
