I only tend to speak to a handful of people ingame personally. Amanda is a social butterfly though :D

The point of setting out and doing this was to take our time because we both work and travel and have the occasional social life, so it was never meant to be a quick massive town build or factory as EC may have been previously.

and screens are vital!!

There are few occasions when we are all actively working together due to time zones and as Em has pointed out rl, I'm quite often on alone, as is Em who plays later than I do. Added to that time in game is also limited.
Atm Tarnum and Foragin are busy preparing the mats for the brickwalls so are working separately from us, Em and I are now raising terrain and destroying the dirt piles.
On top of that we still have to forage and hunt, food is constantly an issue seeing as neither of us have the stats for hunting, though I am now killing bats, so getting there, lol.
Curio's are also an issue due to not being in a position to craft them yet and as you know forageable curios are pretty rubbish so this is not helping in raising stats and constant activity of the same nature is also not good in gaining experience points, so, even when we are in game there is a lot to pack into short amounts of time.

It's a slow process but we are getting there and more importantly are having fun, none of us are pvp'ers, so enjoying our time in game is more important than stat grinding or rapid progress. :D

I did actually think about pyramids ... :D

Everyone has them these days though now and I like to be different, lol.

We are going to build the town on different levels though, we have some cool ideas, so a lot of it will get reused, problem being it is in the way! I had wanted the soil to be stored around the outside but we ran out of space, lol, and it was quicker to just pile it where we worked. I knew this would be an issue later though. :)

it's actually very small compared to last world. It only takes a few hours to go from one side to the other with a horse.
