Note how he never mentioned a new world order. Russia is just claiming to want democracy and justice in international relations.

I doubt the media in general twist things intentionally. Its probably more like with that telephone game.
Human language is not like some program-code, and its always susceptible to different interpretations.

One interpretation than is: That Putin that likes to team up with China (which was already known), and potential other autocratic countries/leaders. And proposes to setup there own world economical group where the decision power in the group is share evenly(ie: the democratic part).

Still sounds totally absurd. ... Autocrats/dictators are not known for there cooperational skills.

Just did. Some of the pictures coming out of there are so fucked up I can't imagine what it must have been like. I wish there was more that could be done. Part of me wants to say fuck it and to get NATO involved fully, but it seems pretty obvious that it would just make things 100x's worse globally. There is no good end to this and the path to the end is just as awful. Humans are the worst.

Nope, still there - we're based in Lviv, it's relatively safe, only few Kalibr missiles hit the city, though there is air strike alarms every day, but as far as I understood winged missiles is easy target for military of Ukraine already.
