I speculate that if you want to reduce the "murder hobo problem" the solution would ironically be for Jorb to consult all the top factions on what changes to make so that faction PvP is more fun/healthy.

*Factions hopefully fight each other and not the poor sprucecaps.
*Factions would have an excuse to fight each other if one of them does murder hobo things and the other wants the "good guy" cred.
*Making PvP "more fun/healthy" would presumably entail making it easier to get into, making it at least bit more viable to have an some kind of casual player militia that could do more than die and feed their equipment.

Theres no benefit or incentive to be a good guy while being bad gets you gear and cheese.
And there is no fixing pvp until the real problems of the game get addressed. Alts and bots. If you make pvp too easy to get into you just open it up to infinite alts and the ones who can gear and feed alts faster (bots would definitely make it unfair) would win. But J&Lo will never fix that shit like they never will understand that you cannot have an unmoderated game and be successful.

And the pvp cunts have moved on from killing noobs (which have probably all quit by now) to mainly harrasing/killing peaceful villages. The big and willing enough factions to stand up to their likes have quit worlds ago likely due to the low fun to effort ratio (not just in pvp). The pvp-ers are now just grinding the playerbase to extinction and jorb and loftar more than deserve it for encouraging it.

+1

I’m more upset with JLo in this world than in others. I hope that this time I will perm quit.

I meant the "Player skill" -part. People meme about skill floor being high, but in actuality the entire combat system is just plain obtuse to someone who isn't mentored by someone who already understands it.

This I can agree with. They keep insisting that the game/playerbase is supposed to "moderate itself" and don't really develop the game in a way that would support this.

.

Even if they remove stupid shit like having to kill a million animals to get the moves to even stand a chance in pvp you are still left with the unsolvable problem that someone who spends two hours a day in a world that takes years can't compare to someone who spends 16 hours a day. And if tiering up to smoked sausages takes 50 hours and to cheese 100 hours or recovering from a death takes 20 hours you're still left with people who can do it 8 times faster in relative terms. Sure there are some timegates like plant growing times etc but not enough to mitigate all the stuff that is not timegated but still crucial. Thus there will never ever be fair pvp in a game like this by its nature alone. So just give it up give people pve worlds and maybe give speed worlds for the no lifers though I have 0 expectations it will happen.

Hwat if there'd be a Hearth magic with like a 2 weeks or 1 month cooldown, and lasts as a buff for i.e. 8 hrs: it would allow to guarantee you to not be looted if you get KO'd, as well as guarantee to get KO'd if you happen to get hit for over your max HHP, if you do not have murderous rage active?

Idea is to allow a (very rare) ability to engage in a PvP without fear of getting killed/one-shot - you guarantee to survive and keep your stuff, although you will still need to heal all the wounds

Rolling stat caps would fucking suck. It's another cope similar to local pools, or animal nodes moving where you see a problem, but you have no solution so you just scream "won't somebody do something".
