In a sense Stellaris is a 4x real time with pause that throws in some elements of their political signature games into the mix.

That's Starbound, it is not as colorful as Terraria graphics wise and it is recently on version 1.00.
Grog, go hit up Teck for Starbound.

You sure you're not having the dumb in this thread?

People usually know what games they are playing.

So yeah, it's Terraria. With spaceships and lazors and building colonies with NPCs and tentacles and babyshark-Pokemon and llamas.

I am eager to admit that's a completely different game.
Off-topic here, people very often are clueless about remakes, different names and whole lot of other stuff happening around the game they're playing; and I'm speaking about myself. I quite enjoyed playing Terraria. I thought the screen-shotted game may be a spin-off or a re-make of it. You decided to be shit-slinging about it. Now I know that you are usually not very friendly or cooperating, and I don't like you; and I still pretty much clueless about what game was on that screenshot. Was that your desired outcome?

3rd law of Newton

Phrasing it the way you did now does make a difference, doesn't it?
And it's a pretty black and white thinking you have there. Many games are using elements of other games, this does not nescessarily make them a spinoff (Is terraria a Minecraft-spinoff? Or HavenandHearth of ...Harvest Moon? Dwarven Fortress? ). There's a huge grey zone and unless you're interested in a lenghy explanation about where your personal border to a remake or spinoff is, the topic is rather useless. Generalisations, especially combined with judgement are rarely constructive.
The general claim of people beeing clueless isn't smart either.
Did you at least google the game?

Eh... Starbound is basically Terraria, but significantly enhanced. It's worth it if you like the genre, but the boss fights aren't as interesting in many cases. You can do a lot more with towns and farming, though.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.

Farming actually recently took a bad hit since you cannot stack food anymore.
