To be completely honest, I still prefer how the original Haven operated more, but it's probably more so the fear of change than anything. Just a bias.
As I see it, if enough people stay for the P2P, it will be fine. 200-400 actives should be enough to provide SOME MMO aspect in it all. Now if pretty much everyone quits and we're left with <50, it will turn very sour and most of us will get bored and quit in a few months time. As much as Jorbtar try to convince that the game will be fine with a smaller playerbase, after all these years, I just can't agree :/
There's no going back to HH1 now. All we can do is support the current iteration and hope it gets better and better and the population stays decent.
2011 your avatar says? You know how often other games are mentioned and discussed, there's even been entire threads on other games, screenies from others games, threads on "Similar games" ect,ect over the years. People even ask right out for similar game discussions and freely compare and always have.
Perhaps you are right, perhaps a small private club will give them whatever funds they require to pay their monthly bills or trips to the off-license. It has, aside from hermits and farmers, been that way since the beginning but then it was free, and this gave the private mighties, someone to grief, I tend to think your small private club idea, griefing each other, would be very boring to most in the end. I guess we'll see if that small private club thing works for them and you.
