Could you go into more detail as to why you feel this way? Village life can be quite exciting, in fact it's the part of the game I like the most. :)

Jorb does not like people.

Jorb is hermit, raise cattle, stay alone. Drink tea in his tidy palisade.

(There are a lot of implications if he joins a village, furthermore people would start wondering who he is and if they joined his. Rather than joining one, he should probably ask to listen in on the conversations and general things of another village so he understands concerns/nonconcerns in that group.)

He could be the "nice russian guy" I met a month or so ago... who gave me my first iron ores and allowed me Trespassing and Theft on his claim like 1 hour after meeting him.

Yes, that happened. Guy was really nice. Unfortunately he doesn't seem to be playing anymore :(

All those times your character got stuck on a ghost fence or a weird hitbox? It was jorb.
Remember to apologize for stepping on his foot next time.

I know for a fact that he, or more likely Loftar, plays a fox in game. He has stood outside my walls for ages watching me work, following me around and seeing what and how I do things, he obviously knows about my combat problems and has also followed me when I leave the walls and killed two badgers for me so far, that I may get some new discoveries. :)

When I had a palisade a boar came to it and was mighty interested in watching me doing stuff. I knew there was something fishy about it :D
