I think that people can be justified with complaining for this. But really, I have not seen the world in any of past years where certain player did not gain advantage. This is a game where if you are trying hard enough, you can always finding something that is unfair to you. Really I think having caps for skill can make this state with far more fairness than in any world for looking overall.

I wouldn't say those roots heal every wound instantly, they only heal the same amount of hhp as their quality. Also the ageless ice is like a two week+ spawn which you get one at a time out of and no one even had troll skulls until recently.

Plus they cannot be stored up; they decay, possibly in as little as 48 hours (as I've heard once, not sure if true).

I heard they doesn't decay on alts, same goes to roots. And you could've stored a lot of them at the beginning

Do you actually play the game? Like do you have a character, a base and do quality grinding?

In a hermit's capacity, yes.

I haven't had the privilege of stealing his stuff since world one.

 - well that probably explains it.

He came and visited my hermit village, he was waiting by the front gate to be let in. I think he was concerned about the amount of devastation I'd done to the environment trying to terraform my cliff, lol, he came inside and walked around, took a look at my then newly built stonestead and then waited at the back gate to be let out again. He didn't speak though, but maybe that was because he came as a fox. :)
