They are collecting users feedback, logs and statistics to improve their stuff. And people are thinking its somekind of conspiracy where government is spying on them.

It doesn't have to be a conspiracy now to become one in the future. When every car is equipped with a GPS that is monitored by Google, it quickly becomes "only natural" to automatically dispatch a speeding ticket when the GPS detects you speeding.

And if you really think they are spying on you looking at weird stuff in internet. Then dont complain to them. Go and use some other software. There's plenty of options available alternative to windows.

That's exactly what I'm doing, in case you didn't notice. I don't complain to Microsoft, but if you're going to question my choice of reasons for not using them, it is only natural if I complain to you.

I don't realize what people have against windows 10.
Its an improvement to all previous windowses.

Of course some methods that they are trying to use in attempt to make people upgrade to windows 10 might be shady. But I completely understand that they want people to use same OS version.

I don't think that "foreign countries spying on me" is good reason not to upgrade to windows 10.

edit: I think reason might be that people dont want change. Quite simply.

Noone said we had to agree on whether it's worth it or not; nevertheless, it is a reason.

I might also question the wisdom of not caring what power you give away to others, of course, but that's ultimately your choice.

Well ultimately what choice does a common man have in that particular matter?
Eventually win7 will become bugged hive as MagicMan implied, then you will either have to move to Linux or win 8.1/10.
Since most programs are written for windows nowadays people will just choose win 10 because there will be no other option.

Well, I for one haven't used Windows (except for isolated tests) for almost 15 years now.
