My greatest noob mistake was sowing grain on a plot which a trellis already stood.
Turned out I could not harvest the grain and if I removed the trellis the grain also was destroyed!
This delayed our operations for days. A dark day for the Knights indeed.

Once in world 5 I wanted to test how good bronze plate is.
It didnt help much. Got killed by bear.

One day after filling my inventory foraging at the swamp and with many leeches in my equipment slots to save space I hearthed back home to, of course, appear under a cluster of bats. They instantly KO'd me and brought my HHP real low. (It was already almost halved from a run in with a badger days earlier)
I knew the deal, race into my log cabin ASAP, also, why didn't I build my hearthfire in the cabin? or set up the claim to avoid bats? and why is my health dropping? Oh.
All I could do was sit there and watch as the leeches killed me.

Oh man, that made me lol. You have my condolences.

In world 6 I let some guy that I met hour ago inside my place so he could spend his night safely. On morning all valuables were gone and characters killed.

so in world 4 when I was hermitting, I was trying to get water. I settled in this area with a river, without a shallow area around it. I asked someone nearby and they told me to go to the river to pick up water with a bucket, but when I did, it told me I needed swimming. So after a little while and getting desperate for water, I thought the only way to get this water was to swim...well as many of the older players know, back them swimming was your way to a quick death!

Also I built a pali in world 5 for the first EC up to the edge of a cliff, and kept getting animals aggroing me and getting inside which I thought was so fault, cause I couldn't see where they were getting in from. Until a friend close by, just waltzed in through the tiny gap between pali end and cliff start :D

I think probably most players first death in legacy was caused by swimming, it was mine too, as soon as I saw swimming in the skill list I couldn't wait to buy it, in my head it was a leisure activity as well as a means of crossing the rivers and lakes, lol, lakes ... ... so as soon as I got it I jumped straight in and started swimming about, I didn't even notice I was drowning ... it stayed with me all through legacy too, even when I had chars that could easily cross the river I was always nervous about doing it. :D

Mine was cause by bear spawning inside my palisade because I didn't have it claimed properly to prevent bear and boar spawns.

I had, thankfully, already read about swimming on the forums.

I did that with a bolete recently. Luckily I had three more. I have really high ass PER.

My most recent death was so fucking stupid and unnecessary and preventable.

I'd gotten mauled by a bear while foraging earlier, and as a result was rocking 12 HHP. However, by the time I got back home and started mining, I'd slipped into old habits and was playing like I had a normal amount of HHP (50%+). I was absentmindedly genociding bats on the way to/from my latest ore vein, having gotten careless since creating my first bronze armor and realizing bats weren't a threat anymore. Around my 4th or 5th bat, I remembered the bear mauling from earlier and noticed my health bar seemed even slimmer since then. I realized, literally a second before it happened, that some bat scratches had been getting through, and I was sitting at 1HP. And then I died like the stupid idiot I was.

The worst part? When I got mauled by the bear, I had just that day healed nearly back to full from a previous god damned bear mauling.

On the plus side, I just used Beezer Threezer to complete my first full stack of wrought iron, so hooray
