I was joking...btw if someone did that it's only a good thing letting people know that there is another game, free and even better than that.

Imitation is not that bad.....the funny thing he's trying to hide that in every way...banning people, etc....he simply could say that is inspired by HnH but with safe areas, etc...to allow a more casual type of gameplay.

Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, is it not? I do feel a bit flattered, at least. :)

I wonder if developer of Infiniminer feels same way.

Actually, yeah he does. He's had small interviews where he's said he's completely fine with notch taking inspiration from infiniminer. He stated he would have never taken infiniminer in the direction notch took it, so it's not like it was a lost market for zach

Of course he have no choice but to take this position. Maybe he is better man than me, but I think I will feel a bit of disappointment in his shoe.

I'm considering buying to demo it then refund.

But from what i've read it's a garbage game with a bunch of 'alchemy' to make guns and other modern shit. Ruins the entire game and theme. Can you imagine Russians in H&H with guns and motorcycles? Jesus christ no.

Sounds like they have a pretty dodgy ingame microtransaction shop too selling useful items.

What a garbage fire.

Despite some of its unique features, the game has garnered comparisons to Haven and Hearth, another indie sandbox MMORPG developed by a team of two. It is also noted, however, that, while the games look quite similar and have a similar basic feature set, the game has value outside of the "Haven and Hearth clone, but not a subscription game" designation.

Apparently people think subscription is compulsory for haven. That's a good point, maybe this forum should make it clear that the game is free, on the front page for example. Typing http://www.havenandhearth.com and immediately seeing a Shop button might have made a few potential players quit.

Every time I recommend H&H they say P2W and call the game a Russian controlled game.
